Course Curriculum Overview

It was a good and fast-growing course so I have chosen it. The faculties are good as they pay proper attention to all the students. As for the exam, the paper is easy if we study according to the teachers so there is no tension regarding exam difficulty.

Our college offered too many companies to the students as we heard like students have to give their interview to qualify for the test and get the job for the companies. As I just joined so I don't have all the details regarding scholarships.

Placement Experience

After completing 3 years in our course students become eligible for the placements. Now it's my first year of college so I have not applied for any of the placements from outside also. The average package offered by our is 3-4 lakhs per annum for the bachelor. My plan after getting the degree is to do a master's in data science for 2 years and then get a job for myself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 150000. My fee structure is 150000 and I still have not got any scholarship regarding as it's my first year in college so nothing till now. As to tell the fees are not that much high but still, it is more and then also they charge us exams fees of 3-4 thousand per semester.

Campus Life

College life is daam good like there is no other fun than social life in our college. We have attended so many fests, conferences and many more in our first year was so much fun. Regarding sports, till now I have not got any info about sports.

Admission

Yes, I have given an entrance exam for my admission process. The application form and all the process is online so we don't want to go and check in college for such things. The improvement I need in the admission process that is they should give a form of details to students for the fee structure so if anyone doesn't know the online process they can pay the fees through other easy processes.

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

So called MITWPU-Pune

i had applied for ahemdabad university as well. I got admission there as well but i was waiting for confirmation of admission from this college. I chose this college over AU just because this one was located in Pune-the IT hub, and they had made pretty good name all these years. MIT-WPU is world class!!

MIT has its own evaluation test and also 12th marks minimum of 60% in PCM for general category is just. For SC/ST and OBC is 50% and also get respite in entrance scores and fees as well.
