- The thing which is like by all not even me only is the beauty of NITH campus. The campus is.cover by full lush green forest. Sometimes u have also find a wildlife animal here and tiger also please Don't take it as a joke .
- Second thing we most like here is the beauty of Himalayas and all . The on campus placement in tech field is also very good but the core placement is ok ok .
- Third thing we most love here is the coding culture of our campus.you always found ur senior here is always on laptop by doing code and all .
Dislikes
- The restriction on students are very hectic here . If u want to go outside campus then u have to take permission from authorities and self attested formalities is required all time whenever u go outside at ur all gate of nith
- The second thing which we most hate is the road of transportation to go lecture hall or any other place in campus is very hectic specially in summer u got damn angry while nomade in campus
- The senior's is very helpful to all junior
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is not very hectic and the faculties are approachable. I chose civil engineering because I deserved it. The faculties are well qualified and most of them have PhD from IITs. The campus is environment-friendly.
Internships Opportunities
NITH is in the top 5 colleges from which maximum students crack gsoc . Those who don't know what is gsoc let me know u gsoc is a Google Summer of Code internship that is provided by Google itself every year internships are cracked by our 18 seniors from our college.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement from the 6 semester onwards in this college. The companies that visited our campus are Amazon, Tata, Goldman Sach, Wipro, TCS, bob, Vedanta, etc the highest package of my branch (civil) is 9 lacs per annum and the average package is 6.8 lac per annum the average.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for the students whose parents' income is less than one lac then their total academic fees is zero rest of the amount left is hostel and convincing charges only which are 60000 and 30000 rupees only. The scholarship provided is the national scholarship portal.
Campus Life
The name of our annual fest (nith) is Hillf'fair which is held every year in the month of October -November and the technical fest name is Nimbus which is held every year in the month of February. Also, all study materials like books are given by our library itself. Lots of clubs are run by our college students to make better culture in both domain core as well as coding from few of which are iste, gdsc ,csoc ,spec, resurgence, public Relations, finance, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided by our hostel in our room are like full-speed internet LAN cable, fan, Almira, table, bed, charging points, etc. The hostel provides us with a meal four times a day (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner) to be honest the quality of our breakfast, snacks, and dinner is really so osm but for lunch, you only get rice, raita, and different pulses.
Admission
The admission process for NITH is through the JEE Main exam only. My JEE percentile was 94%ile. To find the application form, visit the NTA website and the application fee for JEE Main is Rs 650/-. The NTA will announce the date for an application form.
Interview Experience
The topics of group discussion are new education policy, water treatment, pollution, artificial intelligence, etc. Interview questions is like simple question just as ur theory question process of admission is one and only to crack jee mains only .even not only quality u have to get a descent score in kee mains minimum above 93 percentile.
