Course Curriculum Overview

4

I wanted to pursue engineering so I opted for this course. I wanted to explore the field of automobile engineering so I opted for mechanical engineering. The ratio is around sufficient for exactly 50 students and 2 professors. The faculty is highly qualified each one having a PhD. The teaching method is awesome. Term exams are conducted each month and the final semester exam is conducted every 6 months

Internships Opportunities

4

There are ample internship opportunities available in our college both on campus and off-campus. And if students don't want to do an internship then there are n number of projects which they can do. The major companies hiring are Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Google, Capgemini, gpect, Mercedes etc. As it is an institute of national importance there are many projects available which you can be a part of so in this field there are many opportunities available.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus. The highest package is 1.25 cr pa from the electrical department. and the average package offered to each branch is higher than 9 lpa Around 90 per cent of students get placed each year which is quite decent . My plans are to pursue govt. Exam after college

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is a bit high If you belong to the middle class, the overall expenses (including your personal expenses) the yearly budget is around 2.5-3 lacs. But if you are sc/St student or even have a family income of less than 1 lacs than your fees are minimal and you can avail of a number of scholarships. Stipends are available in the form of internships and college provides various opportunities to earn and become financially independent.

Campus Life

5

There are many events organised in a decent way. Each and every festival is celebrated at the institute level, the main fests are 1) techspardha - technical fest 2) confluence - cultural fest. There are ample opportunities for sports and each sports team is made who practice regularly and every year a sports meet - cities, is organised. There are many clubs and societies that look forward to giving you opportunity for self-growth and having fun

Admission

I'm a student of NIT KURUKSHETRA, which is a central government institute of national importance. The selection criterion is based on our merit list obtained from jee mains, basically, NTA conducts a paper known as the joint entrance exam also called jee, in which each year around 10-11 lacs students appear and around 1.5 lacs students get selected so from this paper and after councelling from jossa and csab we get college allotted. The reservations are for SC/St category students, and for women, also small reservation is given to OBC students. The application form is available on the official site of NTA and the application fees for general and OBC students is around 1000 rs and for sc/St it is very minimal. The addmission process is very authorised and it is up to date which I believe requires no or minimal changes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
