Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are very good in nit kkr. They will teach you quite thoroughly. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:20. And that's quite amazing, You can ask your doubts anytime anywhere. Faculty here are well qualified like they have done Ph.D. in their respective field and now they are guiding other students to know their subjects quite well.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is given by Siemens Centre of Excellence and it gives interns in many ways to everyone. Either one can be an intern in the 6th sem or can do project work on campus that will be very useful in my resume.
Placement Experience
The placement of the main branches is very good. Some years there is a 100% placement ratio in the CS, IT, and Ece branches but last year there was one girl in the electrical branch who grabbed a package of 1.25 cr which was the highest to date.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I am from the sc category I dont have that much of a fee problem. I don't know if there's been any fee hike recently. The cost to study isn't that much for me but for many, it is very high. Scholarships can be availed from the nsp portal.
Campus Life
There are 3 main festivals that are held that are techspardha, utkarsh, and confluence. Confluence is the main in all of them. The library is very good. Well maintained and they have plenty of books available if you are willing to read.
Hostel Facilities
For first-year boys triple seater room will be allocated and from the second year onwards they will get a single seater room. Meal quality is okay. Not too good not too bad. But for me it is good. And I have not rented any pg.
Admission
I have opted for civil engineering because I want to get a job in the government sector. The admission process was very easy. But managing your documents in one folder will make it way easier. I cleared JEE and after that, I applied for jossa counseling. Before selecting my choices I matched my rank on Collegedunia to get my favorite branch and then I got civil engineering.
