Review of NIT Kurukshetra

I chose this course as I was a little inclined towards electrical. Moreover, I saw several opportunities here. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. There are faculty for every 40 students. All the faculty have more than 30 years of experience and have published few research papers as well. Term exams are after 6 months. They are comparatively easier to pass but to get good marks l, you will need to put sone good effort.

A lot of companies offered internships in the roles of data analyst, get, software developer, web developer, etc. There are projects available as well under the Seimens Centre of Excellence based on the different genres.

In the 7th semester, students are eligible for sitting in campus placements. Our institute welcomes almost all big MNCs including Google, microsoft, amazon Goldman Sachs etc. and more than 800 offers were made. The highest package was 1.25 Cr and the average was 17 lpa More than 85% of students were placed. I am planning to sit for the campus placements and grab a good offer

The fee structure is different for different income and caste categories. A lot of scholarships based on merit, income category and caste category are also provided by the institute. Moreover, there is an option for bank loans as well as fee payments. ROI is quite good as well. On average 10 lakhs on this degree can give me a 17 lpa package on an average.

Annual Fest is known by the name of Confluence which is conducted every year in the month of October. Techspardha is the tech fest which is conducted every year in January. The institute library has quite a good collection of books. But the only issue is that most of them are pretty old. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, projectors and air conditioners. Each and every sport has its own team that participates in all Inter NIT competitions Some of the clubs are spicmacay, IIC, I&E Cell, EMR, SAE, MCC, NBC, SUC, LSD

The admission to the institute was done through the IIT-JEE Mains examination and JoSSA counselling. Moreover, one must pass the eligibility criterion of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class 12/equivalent examination. Application forms are released mostly in the month of December on the official website of jee mains. The fee for the same depends on the category. For gender-neutral males, the fee is 600. There are reservation benefits on the basis of gender, home state and caste categories.
