Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen this course because computer engineering has a bright future in India and there are many well-paid jobs. Also, there are on-campus placements in this college. Faculty to student ratio is around 5:20 which is good. Many professors are supportive and they help. All the faculty members are either PhDs or are currently pursuing Ph.D. There are two mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam. Sem exams are of 20 marks each and the end sem is of 50 marks. Exams are not difficult, and easy to score if given attention in lectures.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The companies for on-campus internships come at the start of the 5th semester and take the students. They give a good amount of stipends and can give pre-placement offers. The companies in my branch come for the role of software engineer, web development, app development, UI/UX designing, and cloud computing. We need to have two good projects for the internships and should be good in DSA and without any backlog.

Placement Experience

4

From the 7th semester the company starts coming to the college for placements. The students who do not have any backlog are eligible for the placements. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, zomato come for placements and give packages of around 40 lakhs. Around 400 companies visited and 800 offers were made in the previous year. The percentage of placement in cse branch is around 98%. My plan after getting a degree is to take a good placement in a good company with a good CTC. I want to excel in this field and improve myself to better positions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is mainly tuition fees and hostel and mess fees. Other there are misc fees. There are fee remissions for lower incomes background families. For students having an annual income of less than 100,000, the full tuition fee is waived. For annual family income between 1 lakh and 5 lakhs 2/3rd of tuition fee is waived. For the rest, there is no tuition fee waiver.

Campus Life

2.5

The annual cultural fest is called Confluence and the annual technical fest is called techspardha. There are many clubs and societies in this college be it technical, drama, music, management, financial, etc. Books are available in the library and can be issued for 15 days. The course books are given by a book bank for one semester to study. In the classroom, there are projectors, nice benches, and air conditioners. All facilities for sports are available. Yoga is also there. There are many social groups like Siksha which teaches the poor children of mess workers of the college.

Admission

For taking admission to this college we need to clear the Joint Entrance Examination. Cut off for the Computer Engineering branch is around 99 percentile in jee mains. The counseling is via JOSAA counseling which is online and many colleges participate in this counselling process. Seats are reserved for the OBC NCL category. No improvement is required in the counseling process as it is online. However, the physical document verification process can be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
