Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I was very interested in doing something in political science. the ratio is approx 1:70, as it is Delhi University, the faculty is quite experienced and the teaching methods are good but they are sometimes quite outdated. the term exams happen after every semester and they are moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
there is no fee hike as such. being a government college, the fees are quite low i.e. 15,000 rs per year approx. no scholarship, financial assistance, or jobs on campus as such. placements are quite less in this course.
Campus Life
the annual fest is TEMPEST conducted annually in April- May, there is no tech fest. the library is very good with most of the books and journals. the classes are a bit old-fashioned with no acs but still, they are good. sports is not there as such and in extracurricular activities, there are a lot of societies that give a lot of exposure. a lot of clubs are there such as the dance clubs Tanz and mridang, the placement cell, and the fine arts club Adwaitiya.
Admission
The entrance exam for this course was CUET. the admission process was quite difficult. Delhi University has very few seats and the candidates applying were approx 10 lakh. reservation is provided since it's a govt college. the improvement in cuet can be centered with good systems and internet as it is an online test.
