Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is the same at Delhi University for all the colleges, be it north, south, or off-campus. Daulat Ram has a strict academic system compared to most of the Delhi University colleges, the faculty being top-notch and willing to help throughout. The semester is usually 4-6 months, the 1st semester being almost 5 months.
Internships Opportunities
It ranges as per the society you are a part of. The internship opportunity is provided by the societies and as per the task you have done in previous months you get that appropriately. Every society has multiple roles and departments.
Placement Experience
The reports of the past year show- the highest placement of 21LPA and an average of 6.5LPA. Students can apply for it in the 5/6th semester. The placement here is decent and neck to neck with its surrounding colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure here in Daulat Ram is on the higher end as compared to most of the colleges affiliated with Delhi University, and there is no relaxation on the fees for obc candidates. But there are some scholarship programs here for OBC, SC/ST candidates that one can apply for.
Campus Life
Delhi University being famous for its social life, societies, and clubs is nothing unheard of. Here at DRC, there are ample opportunities for students to explore their interests. MANJARI is the annual fest of DRC, which has had immense famous personalities as guests. Life on campus is full of fun with different events happening almost every day. Zenith, Vridhhi, and Debonair are some of the top societies of DRC, which has achieved success throughout the years.
Admission
The admission process for any college affiliated with Delhi University is through CUET (Common University Entrance Test), for which one is eligible from 12th grade to register. After registering for the same you have to be cautious about the subject selection as Delhi University particularly is strict about the subject mapping and courses. When the CUET registration is done, all you have to do is wait for the Delhi University portal to open up their registrations, and after the results the window for rounds begins. The eligibility for my course- Bcom hons, is maths or accountancy being mandatory in 12th grade.
