Course Curriculum Overview
My keen interest in commerce led me to the decision to opt for B.COM as my graduation. faculty-student ratio is 49 most of the faculty did P.hd, and the teaching methods of all the faculty were great. It included theoretical and practical projects and presentations. every 6 months exams were conducted it a difficulty level of 4/10.
Placement Experience
from 2nd-year 4th semester students become eligible for the campus placements. the companies visited are Leela residencies, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, etc. the highest package is 7lpa. 3 out of 10 are getting placements. my plan after getting the degree is to grow myself in the corporate world with great opportunities and new experiences.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for drc b.Com is 20,000 for the first year leading to 18,000 for the rest 2 years. Pmsss scholarship, Himachal Pradesh scholarship, Nsp scholarship, Inspire scholarship, Aicb(divyngjan) scholarship, Nivh(divygjan) scholarship.
Campus Life
campus life is vibrant organising the fests and events timely. there are more than 7 societies like Debonair, Anhad, etc. all the amenities are provided in the college all the societies help us boost the extracurricular activities without the students. a great library is available for all the departments for better research and study.
Admission
The admission process took time. There are entrance exams for several courses but B.com is merit-based. The admission department released 7 cut-offs for different colleges with different courses in 2020. The admission form can be found on the official Delhi University website. After filing the relevant details the option for fee payment opens up for the students lying under the cut-off. The university provides a reservation system with castes i.e. OBC, NCWEB, PWD, etc. I got my admission to the second merit list with a cut-off of 94% under the OBC reservation. The grievance cell should be improved as it does not provide relevant information on time leading to delays in the genuine queries of the students.
