Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because my JEE rank was low. Generally, assistant professors take our classes assisted by Ph.D. scholars. Professors are highly qualified with different degrees from IITs and abroad nd Ph.D. scholars from India. This college conducts the midsem exam in September followed by end sem exam in the month of December. It's easy to pass in the exams if we follow our teachers and attend classes regularly. Absolute marking is done here.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Orcacel Microsoft google lnt Vedanta Ashok Leyland and others provide internship opportunities here. They give a good stipend and students learn many things from them. Many papers are published here.
Placement Experience
Students from the 5th semester are eligible to get internship opportunities. And from the 7th semester to get a placement opportunity. Almost 80% of students get placed here making this a very good college in the North East. I wish to pursue a Mtech in automation from Germany after completing my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are very minimal and at par with all other NITs in India. Sc/st get 100% fee remission and many others get fee concessions on the basis of their income certificate. There are various other scholarships provided by central and state governments. Tripura government gives financial assistance to home state students of 90k. Mtech nd PhD students also get stipends from the government
Campus Life
Campus life is very good here. We have the largest library in any nit here. There is a very big sports Complex with every sports facilities. there are two annual festivals conducted here namely MOKSHA and AAYAM. classes are not equipped with AC but are clean and well-ventilated. There are various clubs too.
