My college experience

Actually college is good and it could be better if the area around that is developed and my only suggestion for management will be to bring in some solid companies during placement drive because that's the only thing matters after a four years course

AIEEE , I took admission because my state rank in Uttarakhand was good as compared to delhi. Admission process was as per Uttarakhand technical university rules meaning we have to submit fees and book your seat and you will alloted the course as per the choice you filled in form if you meet the criteria

The course curriculum was actually good and contend the only missing thing was less emphasis personality development programs though the management tried to introduce some programs but those were not sufficient enough for students and other than that course was good

No our college doesn't provide any internship but there was a facility to provide scholarship to students from low income families which includes there hostel expenses as well

Well being true to this question placement facilities were not that much good and impact full since most of the times only small level companies are invited for placement drives and that too for specific branches like computer science and information technology . And some times companies which are far away from that technology were invited like a management firm for btech students

Events list contains- 1. Annual function known as Anugoonj. 2. Festival celebrations 3. Independence day celebration. 4.blood donation camps once or twice a year . Overall it was a fanytime whenever a event was organised as students love to have free time

Fees structure was somewhat on the basis of rules laid out by Uttarakhand technical university but for lower income group and students from other categories fees was null or minimal . Though the fees was not much and feasible but as per the facilities at that time it was way much

Yes there was scholarship facilities but only for lower income group students and students that belongs to other categories

Campus life was good and I have enjoyed a lot but on a serious note and being true to this environment was not always healthy because there was so much influence from localities And there have been many incidents in which localities have caused problems to hostlers and other students who were not localities

The hostel doesn't have much more facilities at that time and fees were more in comparison to that And even the wifi setup was done during 2013 and that too was restricted some time. Now the food - I should say no comments but since I have to put something here so I will only say it was pathetic but I think nearly all hostels in colleges will have same standards

This concept of Alumni has been introduced only 2 years back and before that there was no such thing and since I was busy in my job so I was not able to attend any Alumni meet so can't say about that experience

Exam structure was basic and same as instructed by Uttarakhand technical university- 1. Two main exams in a year on a gap of 4 to 5 months . 2. Four sessional exams ( fixed percentage of marks are added to final exam results) so it was important . And last but not the least practicalrecams

Since state rank was good in Uttarakhand and I have filled the form for Uttarakhand technical university, so I got rit as first preference. After that you have to submit fees and book your seat for course you have choosed. After that you have to fill some form regarding dress and hostel if you are planning to opt for hostel and complete fees can be paid in cash as well as demand draft

Normally faculty was well educated and aware of there duties and if anyone has doubts they can consult the faculty in teachers staff room and sometimes students can get help over the phone as well mostly during exam times. Most of the faculty were mtech and those are BTech were already pursuing mtech at that time
