The Student Words

I chose Mechanical engineering because I love this course and I have so much interest in innovating new things. The faculty is very good, they are highly qualified, the teaching is very nice, and there is a good ratio of the students and faculty I like this college and faculty, the teaching method is very good, the Teachers use the board as well as projectors to teach. the term exams for every 6 months and every month has quiz exams. Here are good facilities like the Library to learn and provide books and the question paper is also very tough, pass marks less because the paper is tough.

So many companies have visited my college for internships like Amazon, kava, multicore, ThoughtWorks, nation star, oracle, etc. These companies give internships, if we do a project well, the companies give a certificate which is useful in job interviews. The projects are web development, coding, web design, building, creating a website, games, music plays, etc. If we do this project they provide a certificate for students which is useful in placement interviews.

In my college, I have good placements. After the 7th semester, you have to attend on placement. So many companies visited our college like Infosys, Google, software companies, etc. Here the average package is 25 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 2 crores. Most of the companies are software companies, and companies select the students who are good in communication skills, and coding, and accordingly who are best in their field. Almost 88 percent of placed in this institute. Iit Guwahati is the top seventh college in India.

The fee structure is very good, they mentioned all fee structures like accommodation, food, medical, swimming pool, semester fee, etc. The scholarship is also provided here for SC, The ST category is the NSP scholarship and in college provided education loans for students who need money to pay the fees here placements are also good, if we study well, we will get a job in college placements like in core side or noncore. In IIT Guwahati many companies will come to the college. we have opportunities to get a job I like this college.

College celebrates many fests. Last month(September )completed the Technische fest in my college I enjoyed it a lot with my friends. The Library also has, they provides almost all books for students. In classrooms, students don't use phones while teaching. And food is also not allowed in the classroom All sports are available for students like Cricket ground, basketball ball, etc., and also indoor games like table tennis etc And also clubs also Dance Club, games club, singing club, etc. Social groups are also run by students.

In my room for every student, they provided a bed, table, chair, etc. And having good facilities for students. In my mess, they provide good quality food, like bread jam butter, egg, sprouts, milk, tea, and coffee. and every Sunday and Wednesday chicken, veg biryani. Every day provided fruits like guava, pineapple, apple, banana, etc. They allotted a hostel and room, when you come here u have to register your name on the form which is provided by the hostel warden. My hostel has good facilities. I like this hostel, the hostel's name is Brahmaputra. This is the biggest hostel in my college.

I qualified in jee mains. I got a good rank jee advanced{ AIR ST 569}, and I got Mechanical Engineering in IIT Guwahati. I found the application form in IIT Guwahati website i completed my registration on 31 August 2023 in IIT Guwahati .I am a ST category student,I have a reservation, because of the reservation I have fewer fees when compared with the others. And I like the admission process, the counseling is done online, I like this process. The counseling was done in Josaa.
