Course Curriculum Overview
Here the ratio of student-faculty is quite good about 7:3. Faculties are very supportive and they teach the students in a very nice way. They give their full effort so that students can learn the topic well. All faculties here are well qualified and experienced by at least 5 years, All have doctorate degrees and also Post doctorate degree holders are there. Here semesters are 6 months at intervals of 2.5 months midterm examination is held and at intervals of 5 months end semester examination is held.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visited to give internships to students. Students can avail internships in college by clearing the examination conducted by companies. Companies visited for the internship include ONGC, Mahindra, Qualcomm, Samsung, Microsoft, etc.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement at the beginning of the 7th semester. There are more than 150 companies visited on our campus. Some of the big companies visited on campus included Samsung, Microsoft, Mahindra, ONGC, Adobe, Qualcomm, etc. The highest package for college is 55 lakh and the average package is 13 lakh. About 92% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here fees are not as high as those charged by private colleges. here the annual fee of course is 125000. Apart from that you get fee remission on the basis of the income of your family and also the tuition fees of SC, and ST PWD candidates are free. I have applied for an ONGC scholarship but the result is not announced yet.
Campus Life
Our institute library is Asia's 2nd largest Library. It has quite a good number of books, journals, and newspapers. All academic books, you can get from the Library. All classrooms are near and tidy and all classrooms have a projector. All sports fields are available on campus and all sports equipment is also available. There are various extracurricular activities, there like singing, dance karate, and a lot more, and various societies and clubs there like Illuminits, Gyansagar, GDSC, ML, Coding, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room are quite good having a Lan connection for each individual, and a bed, table, and chair is provided for every boarder of the Hostel. The meal of the hostel is average. The registration process for a hostel is quite simple and easy. The hostel is affordable as compared to outside PG.
Admission
In order to avail of the course you have to clear the JEE Main exam with a good percentile i.e. above 95 and you must score above 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Jee's main examination is conducted by NTA. You can find the application form on the NTA website. The registration form is released in the month of November. You can avail the benefit of reserved quotas like SC, ST, OBC EWS, and PWD. Apart from this reservation, there is one more reservation of State of eligibility i.e. from where you have passed the class 12 examination. If you have passed the class 12 examination from the same state where NIT is located then you get the benefit of 50% home state quota reservation. in every NIT 50% of seats are reserved for home-state students.
