Infrastructure of NIT PATNA

I have chosen this course because it has a lot of opportunities to have a great job and to enjoy this service I have chosen this department the department of civil engineering. There are a lot of good faculties that provide us a good knowledge. All professors are highly qualified some are IItian and some have completed doctors degrees. It is quite difficult to pass the exam but at last, all the students pass with good marks.

There are a lot of interesting internships there are a lot of companies coming to our college Nit Patna for student placements like Qualcomm, Microsoft, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. The outcomes of the projects are so good they are hiring nit patna students at a very high package of approx 1.5 cr.

3rd and 4th-year students are eligible for placement. Nowadays our college is giving higher placement of aprox 1.6 cr and 1.05 cr. our college NIRF ranking is upgrading year by year. Approximately 90 % of placements are available here which is also increasing day by day. My plan after study is to have a great job.

The Institute was formerly known as the Bihar College of Engineering Patna, a constituent engineering college under Patna University, until 27 January 2004. It was rechristened to National Institute of Technology Patna on 28th Jan 2004 as an Autonomous Institute under MHRD, Govt. of India. The Department of Civil Engineering is committed to providing quality teaching and research opportunities toits undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. Apart from the UG program, the department also offers M. Tech and Doctoral programs in the areas of Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Geotechnical Engineering. The intake strength of the Civil Engineering Department is 92 for undergraduate (BTech)and 112 for postgraduate (MTech).

There are a lot of clubs to enjoy and to improve ourselves. There are a lot of tech fests to develop our tech skills . Almost every month tech fests are happening. There is a big library in which a lot of books are provided to studying in al a large amount of people. There are lots of big playgrounds for sports and extra curriculum activities on our campus. A very big cricket playground is there where we play.

The objective of providing reservations to the Scheduled Castes(SCs), and Scheduled Tribes (STs) in jobs is not only to give jobs to some persons belonging to these communities. It basically aims at empowering them and ensuring their participation in the decision-making process of the State.
