- NITS campus of you come then you will final how good it is..here the sunset and when the weather gets rainy you will love it.
- I like the most peaceful place library,, if you go there you find some good vibes for study.
- Also I like the breakfast of each morning and also the Sunday fest in one month evere last Sunday you get a fest.
Dislikes
- Dislike about room as wee r shareing 4 girls in one room as 2nd ye student.
- Some buildings are from 1970 then it required some renovation and reparing bcoz some walls of the rooms are fungus area on walls .
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course bcoz of I love to study physics and maths. The faculty on the campus is better. Most of the faculty are from IITs and one more important I'm from the mechanical department and our head of the mechanical department is Sukumar Pati sir from IIT kgp. It wasn't too difficult to pass your mindset if you daily study at least 2 hr and maintain your consistency then You are going to score flying marks.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year students are ready to be placed,, if you complete your 6th semester after that and have skills then you are eligible for give interview. The highest package is 83 lpa and the median package from each department is 8 lpa. Almost 70 to 80 percent of students got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
See, if you're studying in IIT and NITS. It really provides you with a good scholarship if you do not belong to the general category. If your income is less than 1 lakh, then the tuition fee is remission fully. In the category of 1 to 5 lakh, it will provide a scholarship of 2/3 of the tuition fee. And same belongs to SC and St.
Campus Life
The annual fest is incandescence in February and technosis in September or October gives you a full refreshment and provides a chill week for engineering students. As NIT, Silchar is known as Asia's biggest digital library in the world. The sports are excellent on our campus. Basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton and many more and respectively different grounds for each one of the sports.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities are very good as they provide a LAN connection (Ethernet). And the speed is quite good 4 or 5 mb/s. Mess food is sometimes bad. but in the morning breakfast, You get daily goods like sandwiches, chole bhature, aloo ke parathe, uttapam, and Puri suji, provided each one of the famous dishes from each state. The registration process for a hostel is not hard, just pay through one link fill in the details, and payment online and you are done.
Admission
I cracked jee mains with my rank of 90k, for which I got a mechanical branch in csab round 1st, It's good to do BTech rather than bsc from Bihar. I got reservations as a female candidate and also belong to the OBC category.
