Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the ECE branch as I was interested in circuits and the science behind circuits. The faculty-student ratio is good, 85 students are there in one class, the faculties are highly qualified and the teaching methods are also sufficient and good enough. There are exams going on continuously, there are exams every 1 month approximately.
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies giving internships in our college, with a very handsome stipend such as Amazon, Adobe, HP, etc. with the given roles of SDE or business analyst, etc., the govt. of India are also giving various internships and projects and many startups such as Hosteldevta also originated from our college.
Placement Experience
Students from 5th semester become eligible for internships, which is very good., There are almost 600 companies that visited our campus, big companies such Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe also visited our campus., Highest package offered was 88 lakhs and average was 16 lakhs, almost 95% students are placed in our college, my plan is to get a good IT job with a good salary and then would decide to do masters after that.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were not high for a normal child coming from a middle-class family as compared to private colleges as NITs have the lowest fees among all the engineering institutes in India. My fees were paid through personal income only, but there are various scholarships available for needy children with low family income.
Campus Life
Incandescence Is our annual cultural fest, there is another fest known as technosis which is our technical fest. The library is well-filled with books and journals and our library is Asia's biggest digital library., Classrooms are well equipped with lights fans and boards, with sitting facilities., Sports facilities are also very good, there are courts for indoor as well outdoor sports., There are various clubs and societies run by students for the enhancement of the student's skills, such as GDSC, ECELL, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are not, well equipped with fans, lights, and cupboards, we are also given a table and chair, and bed. The mess is average, sometimes the taste is good, sometimes not, that is the same in every college in India though., Hostel registration was very hassle-free and highly affordable.
Admission
Eligibility of the course was JEE(mains), then we had to report to the college physically with all the required documents and then we had to fill out the application form and submit it to the administration, the queue for the admission process was very long, this could have been improved.
