Decent college

I chose this course because I always wanted to study computers and the curriculum is very well structured here, also the student ratio is pretty good there are 112 subgroups and each subgroup has around 20-25 students the practicals and tutorials consist of only one subgroup whereas the lecture classes consist of 6 subgroups. The faculty here is well experienced and helpful, they address all our doubts and also teach in a very fluent yet understandable manner which helps a lot to prepare for exams. There are 4 exams in one year 2 per semester i.e. mid-semester ( MST ) and End Sem ( EST ) and for me, I think they aren't that tough to pass all you need to do is attend all the classes study the given material, and practice previous year papers.

Internship opportunities start from 2nd year itself there are a lot of options for internships like summer internships and also there is a whole semester in the 3/4th year dedicated to internships if you want to opt for that. The range goes from 10k-100k+.

Placements are pretty decent here and students start to get placed in or after their 7th sem, the average package around the start when top students get placed is around 21 lpa while the total average boils down to 14-16 lpa.

There is a fee structure provided for a full 4-year course on the official site and there is a noticeable fee hike every year of maybe around 16-18% in tuition fees but there are a lot of scholarships available as the top 10% of students of a class are eligible for it if your fam income is less than some specific barrier mentioned. There are several opportunities for internships from 2nd year which is really good.

There have been a lot of fests here since the day I joined its been 3 months and I have at least seen over 5-6 fests, they are fun though. Almost every book is available in the library and you can always issue them with the help of your student ID card. The infrastructure is pretty good and nice around the campus. There are also 91 societies here run by the students which are pretty helpful in the long run if you ask me.

I am allowed a single room and yes the accommodation is nice, the room is spacious enough and all of the facilities like cleaning the room, water, geyser, etc are provided, the food here is pretty decent too. You can apply for hostels when you apply for admission here.

The admission process is pretty simple there are 2 ways to get admission here 1. Through JEE Mains and 2. Boards percentage, all you have to do is look out for when the admission forms are released on the official site and just fill the form with a minimal application fee.
