I love physics, I wanna learn the concepts behind every process as in everything there is science The teachers are very good Some new teachers interning in college are not that good at teaching but the professors are highly qualified and phd holders Some teachers use ICT tools for teaching which I liked the most Unit tests are taken after teaching every unit in offline and online mode and last sem exams are taken which are not that hard if you study well

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 3951 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a government college fee structure is very low When I took admission my fees were only 3951 rs I have to say that nothing is mentioned about scholarships and the MSc students as internship are given a chance to teach bsc students

Campus Life

Umang is held every year as our annual fest With consists of a dance competition fashion show Talent show and at last our DJ night There is a big Library in our college with thousands of books and a big reading room with over 500 people capacity Every year sports are conducted and many sports are conducted between college students only We also have our science club in which a treasure hunt is conducted

Admission

No entrance exams were taken. You can get admission to an institute of science by percentage in your 12th boards You have to register and fill out the form to apply for the college, and then the shortlisted students are called for admission. Any student who comes first will given direct admission on 1st day. Seats are limited and maximum seats are reserved for reserved categories Application dates are announced when the results of the 12th are declared The only improvement I want is when any student whose rank is lower comes on 1st day of admission is selected but any student who comes on 2nd day with a higher rank will not given admission as seats are limited

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

My hollistic experience

As far as I am concerned the admission process is comparatively simple from other universities. The first process would be the same everywhere i.e. making the login I'd in the portal. The second stage is applying to different colleges in universities. I applied for the Institute of Science Nagpur, it was through Google Forms and was simple to understand. The admission process didn't take so long and I got the reservation benefits as well. If you want to apply to the Institute of Science then I highly recommend RTMNU University for basic sciences.
