The course curriculum is very good and well-structured. The college follows the MAKAUT University syllabus. The core subjects are started mainly from the 3rd year of engineering. The faculty members are very good and the teaching style is very easy so that an average student also can understand difficult problems with ease. There are 120 students In our class and the Boys and Girls ratio is about 1:2.

The fee structure is not as high as pf the other private colleges in Kolkata. It's about 4 Lakh in 4 years. But there are also scholarships that are provided to the students. scholarships like SVMCM, GD BIRLA, etc are provided to needy students who bear most of the course fee. The campus recruitment is also great. About 70% of students get placed in every year and some students opt for higher studies.

The Campus life is very good. There is a big library in the college where students can read and research about the various kinds of things. There are many techfests happening now and then in the college. among them, the notable is the PARIDHI. It is the biggest event where other colleges also take part in this program. There is also a common room where students can play carrom and many indoor games. A canteen is also there.

The Admission process was smooth. I have applied through the JELET exam which is mainly for Lateral students pursuing B>tech after the diploma course. I was admitted into the civil engineering department in the 2nd year. it is a 3-year course for lateral students whereas the normal candidates have to study for 4 years after doing Higher secondary. I did not get any reservation benefits as I belong to the general caste. But reservation benefits are there as per the govt. standard rules. The application is normally available on the government's official sites for the JELET exams. the application fee is about One thousand and five hundred rupees.
