I just love my college

College is very good. it is awesome. it is the best engineering college in whole north India.

I gave UKSEE exam and in UTU counselling i was given this college. i was so excited to get this college as i have heard much about it and now i myself was to live here in reality.

The course curriculum is very good. we have practicals for each theory subject to know about the practical implications of whatever we learn in our theory. we have two mid terms , internal practicals, external practicals and then finally the external examinations.

yes, the college provides the internship for the students in various companies. it is an integral part of B.Tech program. it also gives the students an exposure of industry before actually entering in that industry. students apply for the various internship in other companies and college gives them the recommendation letter for the same.

Placement in Roorkee college of engineering is very good. Many good companies like infosys, accenture, HCl comes for the placement and gives good package to the students. the maximum package that the companies offered to the students was 4.0 lacks. also the college provides good placement to not only the b.tech students but also to the diploma students.

We have many events celebrated in the college for students entertainment. the best of them being UTKARSH. it is a two-day event which is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of our chairman sir. the first day we have cultural event along with scholarship distribution to meritorious students. next day we have celebrity night for students entertainment.

Fee structure is very feasible. we have only 80000 fees for the whole year in b.tech programme. this much amount is feasible for both rich and poor. therefore Roorkee college of Engineering always try to enhance more education among poor people who are deprived of education just because of money.

college provides a good scholarship for the students who need it. also the students can get education loans for their studies. Also the college gives freedom to students for submitting some amount of their fees at a time and the other amount whenever it is feasible for the parents.

Campus life is very enjoying. The campus is very safe. it is safe for both girls and boys. The campus is very soothing as it is situated at the side of river Ganga. the gender ratio is the little bit unbalanced. there is the number of boys as compared to the girls. but that is merely due to the parent's mentality I guess. also, there are many extracurricular activities that are going on even after the lectures. students enjoy in a gym, by playing cricket, volleyball and many other outdoor games.

The hostel facility is good. the hostels are neat and clean. The mess food is hygienic. also we have safe drinking water. we have many indoor game facilities inside the hostel itself like snooker, table tennis, chess, carrom etc. we enjoy a lot in the hostel. also we have well furnished rooms, with a study table, almirah, deewan bed for each student.

Alumini network of the college is good. they have record for every pass out student and we can take help from any of our senior anytime. also we can personally message or contact our seniors whenever we need any sort of help.

Exam structure is very nice and easy. it is designed in such a way that the students are well prepared for the external exams before they actually start. its a great help to the students. we have two mid terms, two internal practicals and one external examination.

I got Admission through UKSEE exam after counselling of Uttarakhand Technical University. after that after coming to college for documentation, i submitted half of the fees and easily got admission. the admission process was very simple and we did not face any difficulty in the procedure.

the faculty of the college is very good. they are very respected personalities. they have qualified from well dignified government colleges like IIT's, NIT's and other government colleges. their way of teaching is very good. there are few teachers who are little bit oversmart but if we talk about the faculty in collective, we have a very good faculty.
