Course Curriculum Overview
I have selected the Mechanical Engineering because there is a very descent placement opportunities for mechanical department. There are very good teaching facilities and very well educated professors who are graduated from IITs IIMs and some professors have completed their masters from the foreign universities. The teaching methods of the professor is very attractive and we'll understandable.
Placement Experience
The highest package offered is 18 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. Most of the students prefer higher degree or government exams after the completion of their degree. There are very good companies visiting the university. Some companies are Tata Motors, Infosys and lots of tech companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
As this university is a government university so there is very minimal fees for the students. And scholarship programs are also available for the students who needs the scholarship. Overall fees for the entire year are decent. You got a lot of internship opportunities throughout the degree programme which is conducted or managed by the university.
Campus Life
Pantanagar University has its biggest annual fest named "Colleseum". At this fest, there are many celebrities invited by the university and it is very enjoyable and very fun. Pantanagar University has one of the biggest libraries in the world. And there are lots of books available for the students which they can issue for themselves. There are also many fests organised by the university. There are very good sports facilities and also have gym facilities free for the students. There are several societies and clubs in the college.
Hostel Facilities
There is a single room in which 3 students are living in first year. And there are suitable and necessary facilities are provided for the students. The mess food quality is descent and very good to eat. There are PG rooms also available but they are little far away from the university.
Admission
I have given the JEE mains and the admission is on the basis of score in JEE mains the only eligibility criteria is that you have to achieve a decent rank or percentile in the exam. If you are a resident of Uttarakhand you are also eligible for State quota as seats are reserved for Uttarakhand residents.
