- The hostels are one of the best with single rooms and good internet facility.
- The auditorium which is currently under construction looks great from outside.
- The labs are well equipped and you will enjoy your time there.
Dislikes
- The area over which it is spread is too much which requires much cycling.
- Sometimes the semesters becomes hectic but not too much.
- Food for vegetarian people is not as good as those for non-vegetarians.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for the first year is common for all the branches. They are basically designed to introduce students to all the fields available and from the next years mostly the contents of the specific branch is taught.
Internships Opportunities
Internships and pre-placement offers could be checked from the website or Oracle sites. For btech students, it is available from 3rd year, and for dual degree students it is available from the fourth year.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is fine. In the end, it depends upon your handwork and skills. Students may opt to do higher studies in foreign countries or apply for gate exams. Internships are available from 3rd year for btech and 4th year for dual degree students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for general student is about 1.5 lacks per Sem including the hostel fees as well as the mess fees. Yeah for EWS or other students who have less family income there are provisions for scholarships.
Campus Life
Social life to be honest depends upon yourself. You may find students living in their room 24x7 and also you find students living in SAC 24x7. There are four fests. Books are available in the library and eBooks are also there. The infrastructure is fine.
Hostel Facilities
The good part is that every student is being allotted a single room from the first year itself and the rooms are not small. One chair one table and one almirah is there and there is a common balcony for 2 students also there is a common room. Registration will be smoothly done and you will get help from the CST team.
Admission
Eligibility is "just" clearing the JEE ADVANCED exam. You must clear the cutoff of all the subjects and also the individual cutoffs. Applied through josaa. Cutoffs and reservations can be checked via josaa itself.
