- Hostel foods some days in a week and the quantity of sweets we get in mess.
- Boys: Girls ratio is so low , there are less girls in campus comparatively .
- Exams are sometimes so tough that we struggle alot for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I have interest in Physics . There is a good faculty : student ratio in our department like almost 1:2 or 1:3 . Faculties are highly qualified and they have good teaching methods and after every semesters they take feedback forms from us to improve the teaching methods. In every semester we have two term exams one is Mid Term and second one is End Term . Yes , they are quite difficult and their difficulties depends on subjects and proffesors.
Internships Opportunities
All big MNCs visit the campus for internships and placements with a great amount of stipend and offers and roles . There are several kind of projects we can do as a part of clubs or under any proffesor of department.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are very good . Highest packages are in Crores which are international offers . 100% placements are provided in our campus . My plan is to get a good job after getting the degree and then continue with the job accordingly.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester there is a fees which is comparatively less than private college and also less for reserved quotas and physically challenged stuents . There are education loans too. IIT Roorkee provides James Thomson Scholarship to top rankers
Campus Life
Thomso is our Annual cultural fest and Cognizance is the tech fest . Thomso conducted on October of every year and Cognizance conducted on February of every year . We have a huge library in our college . There are various sports facilities on campus and so many co curricular clubs are present.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are good but little bit old as we have the oldest campus in India and new hostels are also on the way to construction . Food quality is average in hostel it depends to every ones taste and perspective .
Admission
After qualifying JEE Mains and Advance , we are eligible to fill the choices of the courses we want to opt on the website of JOSAA . When the JOSAA counselling gets over we get the seats in IITs or NITs according to the rank and your preferences . Then , the fees submission mail from college comes and your personall college id is created for all official works like for fee submission and other important college needs . Yes , there are reservation benefits in cut offs of exams and also in fees.
