Course Curriculum Overview
CSE branch gives highest placements also it has high scope in the future and also I was personally interested in coding.So I chose this course. For one course we have one or two faculties to teach the whole class.Apart from regular lectures we have tutorials also which are taken by concerned M Tech or PHD students. The faculty members are highly qualified and most of them teaches very well.We have one midterm exams and one endterm exam per semester. The exams are of moderate to difficult level. But anyone can pass them easily by studying just few hours a day.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships. Since I am a 2nd yr student So, I don't have much idea about it.3rd yr students are eligible for internship opportunities .Companies like Google,Microsoft, jpmc,DE Shaw etc visit our campus. Some companies like DE Shaw offer PIO also(Pre Intership Opportunities)
Placement Experience
As of Btech 4th year students are eligible for campus placements.I dont have much idea about campus placements since I am a 2nd yr student. But various companies visits our campus like Google , Microsoft, jpmc and quant companies like Quant box,graviton etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is quite reasonable.For a 2nd year general category student the tution fee is 1,00,000 per semester ,semester charges are 15,250 per semester and mess charges are 20,250 per semester. I got full tution fee waiver because my family income is less than 1,00,000. So, I need to pay 43,000 in the 3rd semester.
Campus Life
Life at campus is well going.Tech fest of our college is Cognizance takes place in spring semester just after the midterm, cultural fest is Thomso which takes place around october and sports fest is Sangram . All necessary books and journals are available in library. Sports , music , art etc are widely promoted in the campus. Many clubs and societies are run by students like Software Development Labs, Information Management group, MDG, Debating Society, Fine Arts Club, etc
Hostel Facilities
In room we have a bed ,an almirah and study table. Meal quality if not that good although menu is quite fine. We need not to register for hostel or mess separatly it is already included.We are not allowed to stay outside the campus.
Admission
Addmission was based on JEE Advanced rank.Any student who has passed class 12th is eligible to apply.Application procedure can be found in official website of NTA.I haven't availed any reservation.Many of the time the server of the application form doesn't respond or is too slow which needs to be improved.
