- Army Institute of Technology has a very good Coding Environment. People here have a clear focus to code and grab the placements.
- The Sports Festival here is very competing. People from various colleges come here and compete.
- The Cultural Festival here is very amazing bcoz various celebrities are invited to perform in it.
Dislikes
- The size of the AIT Campus is only 30 Acres which is not very large.
- The Food quality at the mess is a bit upset which is not up to the mark.
- The Boys to Girls ratio in the college is very varying. If there are 1000 boys then there are only 200 girls.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course in AIT is Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I have chosen this course because I have interest in both Electronics and coding and this course has both the fields. So I personally like this course because this course involves both hardware and software. The faculty here is very good and educated in their respective fields and this college is best for studying.
Placement Experience
The placements at Army Institute of Technology Pune is above average. The average package of Computer, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is around 15-16 Lakh per annum and the highest go upto 52 Lakh per annum. The highest package last year was 1.12 Crore.
Fees and Financial Aid
The 4 year engineering fees of Army Institute of Technology Pune, is aprrox 16-17 Lakhs and one has to pay around 4 lakh per annum which involves academics, hostel as well as mess fees. The college offers various scholarships like PMSS, Open Merit, Merit Cum Means Scholarship,etc... and all people of the college have the opportunity to grab it.
Campus Life
The life at AIT Campus is very amazing. The College has 3 main Fests namely Aakriti - Sports Aakriti, Technical Aakriti and Cultural Aakriti. These are inter as well as intra college competitions and various colleges participate and give their best to win the trophy. Their is Overall development of a student in AIT.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostels provided at AIT are in very good Condition. The rooms provided start from singlet, duplet and go upto fouet. There is dormitory in our college as well which also allows upto 6 people in one room. The room is cleaned once in every week. There are Laundry Services which are included in the fees and the Laundry comes twice a week.
Admission
For admission in the courses provided by Army Institute of Technology Pune, one has to appear in the JEE(Joint Entrance Examination). The cutoff of Army Institute of Technology is 75 percentile for the lowest branch i.e Mechanical Branch. The cutoff for Computer Engineering branch in AIT is 95 percentile and above. I am basically from General category and this college does not have reservation criteria. Only Wards of Army Personnel are allowed admission in this college.
