- The bonding here between a senior and junior and the helpful nature of senior towards a junior
- A lot of club activities and things you learn in your club which you can't learn anywhere else
- The hierarchy system is also good some of the rules and traditions in the campus between a senior and junior
Dislikes
- Campus is quite small only 35 acres of land .
- On Monday and Thursday you have to wear College's uniform
- Some of the restrictions that you have to be in your hostel before 10 pm
Course Curriculum Overview
I was trying to opt for Computer engineering but due to my score in JEE I got this branch . There is one professor on every 60 students and there knowledge is also quite impressive some of them are PHDs in their respective fields. Exams are held in 2 formaths insem and endsem both in 4 months time period.
Internships Opportunities
Amazon , Deutsche Bank ,MasterCard, Microsoft are some of the companies which provide internship to third year students and almost a handsome stipend. To get internship in campus firstly you should have good CGPA and have some skills like web dev , problem solving, machine learning
Placement Experience
In 7 semester a student becomes eligible for placement. And every year almost 40-45 companies visit to our campus till know highest placement ever was 1.12 Cr of a senior in Amazon Dublin and almost 90 percent student get placed every year those who don't get placed they are some who go for higher studies or get selected in defence. I would try to get in Defence after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year fees in our college increases by 10% and we get different kind of scholarship Like Essa and Pmss and other and girls here get a lot of opportunity regarding scholarship almost each girl gets scholarship and some of banks also fund education of girls in our college so for girls it's very easy
Campus Life
There are almost 30 clubs in our college so students have a good exposure and get to know many new things . Fests in our college are good best in Pune and are organised every year between February and April. There is a video variety of books in library and we also have a separate reading hall. In sports I think you won't get this much exposure anywhere else . Here you get some of best persons to guide you. Our college's dance team is best in Pune Feet tapers they have won fest of many colleges in Pune and outside Pune .
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are fine here in first year it's mandatory for everyone to live in hostel. Food is fine the only problem is that you only get limited fruits and curd everything else you can take as much you want registration for hostel is done during the annual charge . I haven't rented a room till now.
Admission
To take admission in AIT you have to give Joint entrance examination (Mains) and to get admission you should get atleast 90 percentile. And the admission process was quite smooth and to enroll in that you have to check the official website of college you will get all the updates there regarding admission, counseling and reservation this college is only for the children of defence personnel.
