Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very structural and th he faculty members are one of the best all over the universities inside India. They have been graduated from the foreign universities and have great brain to train us

Internships Opportunities

Firstly we have to upskill ourselves by the completion of the courses required for internship and placement which we are doing now in our college days and intern season is going to start in the third year

Placement Experience

Campus placement of iitg is best across all the iits 98 percentage of the students are getting placed every year with the highest package is 2.4 Crore per annum and 1.2 CR per annum domestic and the average package is 22 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

For each semester there is fees of l lakh and total we have 8 lakh semester fees and hostel+ mess fees is 32000 in the duration of four years. The financial assistance is thus can be provided by education loan which I have taken from the canera bank branch which is tied up from the campus

Campus Life

The best ever campus in India is of iitg with the best facilities and beauty.Social life is joyous as we have the fests and events each and every month. We studied in the peer group because it is easy to score

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility and affordability is best in IITG. My hostel brahmaputra is one of pre-eminent hostel in the campus with its rich and ancient culture. hostel premises contains all the facilities including sports room,music room, gym etc

Hostel Fee: INR 64000 per year

Admission

I have cleared the toughest exam of India and that is iitjee advanced examination conducted by the iit bodies all over the India. The selection process is very tough as the qualified 2.5 lakhs mains students got the opportunity to seat in the advanced exam. and across the 23 iits there are nearly 16k seats which is very less selection percentage in the exam

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

I chose IIT Guwahati because of a strong IIT brand , excellent placements and comparetively lower fees. Compare to other IIT's it provied good campus expreience and less academic pressure. Compare to other NIT's , private colleges ,IIT Guwahati stands out in every fields. If one coudn't make it too higher IIT's it's because of not elegible after the JEE advanced rank as competition is very intense. Detailed and Unbiased Review

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
