Honest Review of AIT

I choose the course because of placement offers in this course here as I am an undergraduate in Computer Engineering department. The faculty here is good but sometimes we have to face difficulties too regarding submission. Exam held twice a semester one is Insem exam and other is end semester exam.

Companies that visited for internship are Deutsche Bank for SDE intern , Code nation for coding portfolio, MasterCard for SDE, Deloitte for consultancy, ZS associates for consultancy, Veritas for SDE, Hashmap for consultancy, Udchalo for SDE and consultancy and Microsoft for SDE. In AIT the companies provide both work from home and onsite location internship oppurtunities for the students. In our college 3 students gets internship oppurtunities in Barclays UK also.

Placement offers in this college was good till last year's. But this year placement was seen a dip don't know the exact reason but TPO is telling due to recession. Still 80% students of BE have been placed till now which is good enough. Last year placement was 98%. Companies like Deutsche Bank, Microsoft, MasterCard, Acoops, Veritas, Deloitte, etc visited this year for on campus placement.

The total fees for four year is around Rs.1400000 and there is a hike of around 5-10% per annum and the college provides some scholarship too based on the merits of students. Some of the scholarship are Merit cum means, Open Merit scholarship, Tata foundation scholarship, Hashmap Scholarship and many more.

The college life is good rather compared to other colleges even though the campus is of 30 acres but the sports facilities and other facilities are good enough comparing the students of this college. There are 3 boards (Technical, Cultural, and Sports) organise the inter and intra college events in college. Apart from this there are 26 others club including Maths Club, AI/ML Club, OSS Club, AR/VR Club and so on.

The hostel facility is good rooms are cleaned twice every week, Cleanliness is priority here. But the mess is not upto mark don't expect lavish dish here you will get the food only for survival. l personally like the food only on Wednesday and Monday, even though on paid mess which is on Friday and Sunday you have to pay the money for your so called manpasand dish.

Basically for taking admission in this college you have to give JEE Mains exam and cutoff varies from 97 percentile to 88 percentile from Computer Engineering to Mechanical Engineering and you must a ward of Army personnel criteria is mandatory.
