- The campus is a little small compared to other expensive colleges.

- The sports arsenal could be expanded as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for me choosing this course was because I was very interested in how computers work and overall the field seems very interesting to me. The faculty student ratio is brilliant as well. The faculty is well qualified and some are ex-professors from IITs. There teaching method might be a little intimidating for some but with time you can understand just fine. The examination method is brilliant and exams are conducted on time.
Internships Opportunities
In third year of our branch, one internship is necessary and hence there are a lot of opportunities provided to us by the college for internships. Companies like Mastercard and Bank of Barcalays come in search for interns.
Placement Experience
The placements here are very brilliant and there is dedicated faculty who helps students with placements. The college does have a lot of good companies coming in the college campus such as Mastercard and deutchebank. There are a lot of abroad placements as well. My personal plans are completing the second degree that I am doing, ie, BSc from IIT Madras and get myself a job in AI.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees hike is definitely something worth noting and could definitely get you walletless but the education loan system here takes care of that just fine. There are a lot of scholarships options and one can easily take use of that.
Campus Life
There are A LOT of events in AIT and it is wonderful to see yourself being pushed by your seniors to grow and the culture here is what makes this college different from other colleges. There is no fixed plan of when there is the main events but basically there are three main events in the college, Sports Aakriti, Cultural Aakriti and Technical Aakriti. The classrooms here are top-notch and it's vibe. There are a lot of clubs here as well and they focus on the overall development of the students such as the Magazine board, DDQ club and others. The NCC option here definitely stamps the fact that this is an Army College.
Hostel Facilities
Hostal allocation might just be the best thing you could have. The hostels, though could get some renovation, are a wonderful place for accomodation and they change every year. The food in our mess is said to be one of the best in Pune. The food is brilliant and the people who run the mess are the sweetest people I've ever met.
Admission
We had to give an examination named Joint Entrance Examination and anyone above 76 percentile could get an admission in AIT. For different branches there were different cutoffs and for my branch, ie, Information Technology, the cutoff was 93.1 percentile. The application form is usually found in AIT's official website and is released in february every year. Only wards of defense personnel can join the college. No wards of civilian students can join this college. Retired army officials wards can join too. I don't think there is any need of reforms in the admission process as such.
