AIT Pune honest review

I chose computer engineering branch in AIT Pune because i aspire to be a software developer. Each class has 60 students and different professors for different subjects.1:60 is the faculty student ratio. All the faculty is well qualified and teach well. They take the use of presentation along with green board to teach the students. There are two exams in each semester insem examination and endsem examination. One week study is sufficient to pass the examinations although checking is a strict process

There are various companies that provide internship opportunities including mastercard, Google, amazon providing opportunities for different roles including analyst, software development intern etc.. One student in third year got internship offer from Barclays uk and one got offer from Amazon London. So it depends on the skills.

Students get internship opportunities from 3rd year based on their academic and technical skills and most of the students are placed till 4th year from on campus opportunities as various companies visit the campus during on campus placements including paytm, zs. Most of the students are placed at about 7 or 8 lpa in the college. Some students also pursue mtech or higher studies in other countries about 90% of the students are placed on campus. During on campus placements highest package goes up to 23 lpa.

One has to pay approximately 3,50,000 yearly including mess and hostel fees. Every year there is increment of about 5 to 10 % in the total fees. One can apply for essa and pmss scholarship for serving and retired army personnel wards respectively based on the cgpa criteria. There are other companies also that provide scholarship opportunities. One can get internship based on his/her skills through various platforms and college also provide internship opportunities for students with good technical skills and academic record.

Life is good in campus although the campus is only 30 acres in size. There are various events including technical aakriti, cultural aakriti and sports aakriti and various other events organised by different clubs in the college. The Library consists of large amount of books but it is not open 24/7. Classrooms have adequate facilities. One can participate in competitions to boost his/her skills. There are various clubs run by the students including technical club, sports club, oss club, cycling club, research and development cell, ai/ml club etc.

Hostel is providing sufficient facilities including wifi which is not super fast but has adequate speed. A rable and chair is provided to all the students. Mess food is of adequate taste and quality. Proper hygiene is maintained in the mess. There is separate mess for first and fourth year and second and third year students. Hostel is allotted based on merit including attendance and academic performance.

I gave JEE entrance examination to get selected in army institute of technology, Pune. Only army wards are eligible for admission in AIT. One has to apply on ait official website to get admission and based on the merit list one is allotted the branch in ait. Application process starts soon after jee mains examination. Application fees amount is approximately 600 Rs. There is no reservation criteria for girls. One can dind all the application details on official college website.
