when i joined Amrita university the complete admission process was through Online through their admission portal which is well developed website, where you will get updates regarding your admission such as counciling process , and also you can send queries if you have Eligibility of any B.Tech course is 60% in 10 and and 12th board exams. There are lot of Faculties in mechanical department, we have many professors who have phd and masters in various fields. their teaching method is good if you have any doubt you can ask and if you want to ask any doubt personally you can go to their cabin, they will be happy to help us. They have a well structured cirriculum which you can find on the college site. About exams each semester there will be a mid-term examination and endsem exam and some wightage will be there for internal evaluation which professors will discuss during course introduction. about the level of exams , with good practice of previous year questions and concepts discussed in class you can pass the exam.

As part of our curriculum we were asked to do an internship, we were allowed to do internship in any company which we like. we had to get permission from CIR department of college which is responsible for all activities regarding placement and internships. Internship are provided by company through college for which we have to clear the exam and interview and based on out performance during internships they can convert it to FTE job.

from sevent semester companies will start coming for B.tech Students. for computer science many companies are visiting such as Accenture, IBM , Intel, Oracle etc. for mechanical may companies are visiting like caterpillar, tata motors, volvo etc, for electrical and electronics Bosh, intel ect are coming our placement is currently going . our seniors average package were around 6-8 Lpa and highest was 15-17Lpa(for mechanical)

You will be getting scholarship based on your rank during admission process. you have to maintain a particular CGPA in each year. if it goese below particular cgpa you will loose fees scholarship. and there are various scholarships available from outside colleges whic you can avail it after talking to college office

We have one of the biggest techfest called "Vidyuth"which will be held every year where students from any college all over india can register! We have a big library which accomodate all kind of books from all fields of studies to novels. and magazines are also available , we also have a digital library available where you can do your research. Each class will be having projectors and audio system which almost all professors use for teaching. Our college provides a gread importance to sports. we have a large sports complex where they have basketball court, football court , cricket ground, kabadi court, volleyball court and a badminton court. according to students wish they can go to any sport they want. there will aso be competitions happening between colleges every year and students will be selected by their coach. There are various clubs for students such as amfoss for coding, bios for ethical hacking, robotics club ,arts club and many more.

Each room will be shared by 4 students, they will provid bed and study table attached with cupboard. everyday there will be attendance taked by the hostel warden. by 8.40 they should come back to hoste after which they will close the gate and entry will be restricted. there is a gym in side the hostel complex which you can use in morning or evening. About food only vegetable meals are available everyday, but weekly twice they will provide eggs. but there are lot of restaurant nearby if you want to eat non-veg! Registration process of hostel will be discussed by course advisor during admission process.
