Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good as in the way we are first made Engineers and then made specific to our branch. There are well qualified teachers. Teachers are very punctual in taking classes and even help students. Teaching methodology is also good.
Internships Opportunities
College has placement cell. Most companies arrive in the campus due to alumni's. Internship opportunities open in college after second year. I am currently in second year so have not received any in-campus opportunities yet.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is to be paid at the beginning of each year for the whole year. It is estimated to increase by 10%. Although at the beginning of the course a fees of around 40000 is charged as one time fees. Scholarship is provided by the college to the merit holders each year. Details of the scholarship and fee structure is provided in the official website.
Campus Life
Life is good here. Around 3 inter-college fests and 3 inter-college fests are held every year namely Technical, Cultural and Sports. There are various e-journals, books and ebooks provided by the library. Each classroom is equipped with a computer and projecter(s). College has badminton, squash, basketball, tennis and table tennis court. College also has a football and a cricket ground. Students usually play there. There are about 25 college clubs which cover a wide variety of fields.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are present inside the campus and in good condition. Hostel includes singlet, doublet, triplet, fourlet, fivelet, and sixlet. Mess is ok. Food is served according to the menu decided by the college. For first year, hostels are compulsory. For other years, hostels are allotted on the basis of merit and attendance in the previous year.
Admission
Admission process was mostly online. Branch was alloted on the merit list as per marks obtained in JEE mains. Official website provides detailed guidelines that was very helpful. We had to visit college only on college reporting day. Application fees is nominal. Filled application on declaration of JEE mains result. After merit list was out. We had to fill the branch allotment on online portal and submit about 3% of the fees. After which we were called to the college. Just checking website daily will be good option.
