AIT journey

The course is very interesting as well as demanding in industrial perspective. The Teachers here are locally hired and the ratio is good. In terms of student ratio(girls:boys) is quite low i.e, 1:9. The college comes under Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Barclays, Mastercard, DB ,Cred are some of the good companies which visits for internship and placement. Roles are based on management as well as tech. Rest other details are present on college website.

The placement here is quite nice for CS,IT and Entc. The companies start visiting here for internship in 5th semester and for placement in 7 th semester. The details regarding the MNC's and other companies visiting college with the package offered is available on AIT website. The average package for CS is 17 lakh+. For IT it is 15 lakh+. For Entc it is 12 lakh+. The placement percentage is also very good. Although the NIRF ranking is quite high but the college is competitive to Tier 2 NIT's in terms of placement.

The Annual fee is increased by 10% every year . The wards of serving person gets ESSA scholarship provided by AWES and ward of retired person gets PMSS . Other than these, there are other scholarships based on merit which is available on college website.

Annual fest- Solutions(Tech), Amethyst (Cultural), Pace(Sports). There are multiple events going on round the year such as Inter branch competitions, Tournaments,Intra college events, Hackathons etc. There are more than 25 clubs in AIT.

First years get full accommodation and from next year accommodation decreases as there are not sufficient hostels inside campus(preference for accommodation is given on the basis of merit). The food here is quite good and healthy. There is a weekly menu and Friday & Sunday is paid mess( you can order different food items other than normal food).

The course is offered only to the army wards based on JEE mains percentile. Application form and other related information is present on AIT website. There are reservation for wards whose parents received gallantry awards or disabled during the time of service. Generally the cut-off percentile is- 94.5 + for computer Engineering 92.5 + for Information Technology 89.5+ for Electronics and Telecommunication 80+ for Mechanical.
