- The infrastructure of the campus is very good. The building are very modern and good.
- The hostel is very clean, and they provide all the necessary amenities to us.
- Bathrooms and other things are clean and there are gardens and dogs which are beautiful
Dislikes
- First year mess is very bad. The food is bland and it has no taste
- There is no entertainment here like malls or anything and it is boring
- This campus is inside the forest and it is very hard to get to city as we have to change auto 2 times
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to pursue Covil Engineering in NITA because I am interested in the designs and how these futuristic buildings look. Here the faculty student ratio is about 1: 25. The teachers here are very qualified for the job and they teach in a very good way which we as students can understand. An exam happens every 2 or 2.5 months and the pass marks out of 100 is 40 which is easy to pass which includes 30 marks internal
Internships Opportunities
Here give many internships to people but I am not sure what internship they give because I am a 1st year and for 1 years there is no internship. But from what I know many people such as my seniors went for internships and are very happy with it.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 4th year. Mostly all the core companies come to the college during the month of December, and the placements here are pretty good. PhonePe, Google, Meta, dell, Lenovo, Acer Nitro 5 and many more. Highest package given here was 62 lakes and the average package is about 6-7 lakhs. A percentage of about 80% students gets placed from the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
In NIT Agartala there is not much of a hike in fee policy it is almost the same throughout the whole 4 years. For me there is no scholarship or stipend as I am from general class and it wasn't given to me.
Campus Life
Here fests are not very common but during the month of November dandies night had taken place and at January 2024 another fest known as moksha will take place. NITA has the biggest library amongst all NITs so there r so much materials here to study.
Hostel Facilities
The room provides us with a bed a study table and a cupboard. Meal is very bad for 1st years if u are from north India you will like it but for people from south it will be hard the first year. But from 2'd year there will be south mess and the food there is very good and tasty so no need to worry! Registration process was easy and simple and fast.
Admission
To get in NIT Agartala u need to get a good score in Jee Mains. U can find the application forms and the other main things on the official site of NITA. For general there is not much benefits but for other castes there are good chances u get into the college. Admission process here was quick and easy, they had finished the admission process within 1 week and it was very efficient.
