I choose this course as it is less hectic than other core options I was getting like Mechanical engineering in lower IITs also placement was better than average. Student ratio is approximate 20% girls and 80% boys Faculty all are Highly Qualified Phd doctarate from Prestigious University, some faculties however lack good explaining and teaching style but their knowledge is immense. Exams were nearly in 15-20 days and we need to start our study before 1 week of exams to ace it, while passing was quite easy

Placement are decent. Students in 7th semester end are eligible for their placements. Companies like Microsoft, Google etc visited campus which gave 44LPA, 60LPA respectively. Highest package was for quant profile with 2.4Cr internationally and 1.1Cr Domestic offered by Rubrik US and Alphagrep respectively. Average package for SDE role was not disclosed by college. 85%students were placed in BTech. I will continue my job after degree.

There isn't any fee hike from last year fees for academic course is INR 1 Lakhs while student mess and Hostel fees and other charges comprises around 32000. I awailed MEB financial aid, meaning Most economical backward, causing my tution fee to become 0 and only i was charged for Hostel, mess etc i.e. remaining 32000 , condition was to have family Income under 1LPA.

College has Alchering as annual cultural fest which is conducted in February, Techfest is Techniche conducted in November. Library is so vast almost every academic books and Science papers, journals which are relevant to our academics are present. Classrooms are fully Air conditioned with WiFi facility, benches are well furnished so as green boards, projectors. Annual sports fest we have as Spirit in month of October in which there are participants from all over India to compete. Inter-Hostel Sports competitions like Spardha happens every year around january. We have many clubs which are divided in three categories technical, sports and cultural. All are runned by students only. Technical clubs comprises of ML.Ai, Consulting and Analytics club, Finance and Economics club, Coding club, Whitespace Design, Quiz club, Robotics club, Aeromodeling club and Ecell. Cultural clubs like Anchorenza and RadioG, Xpressions, Cadence, Lumiere, Montage, Finesse.

Hostel room is of single occupancy but we had to share it with 2 people making it double occupancy thus, it is congusted. This happened due to damage of one Hostel due to earthquake. One table 2 chairs one almirah and 2 shelf, 2beds without mattress are provided in room. Meals of some hostels are good, some have bad. We can change mess subscription accordingly at start of every month. Hostel fee is 18000 for mess, 500 student fee 6000 Hostel rent etc per semester. We are allotted rooms on First come First serve basis while hostels are alloted during admission.

I cleared JEE Advanced 2022 where I got AIR 10991 , getting a BTech in Bioscienes and Bioengineering in IIT Guwahati. Eligibiltiy for giving JEE Advanced was to clear JEE Mains in their resective category and previously atmost 1 time only given JEE Advanced. Application forms can be found on jeeadv.nic.in. I awailed EWS Reservation in which I got 1448 rank, You can avail it only if you are General having family Income less than 8 lakhs with other terms and conditions which can be found on official government website. Admission process slightly was not student friendly as people whose loan wasn't sanctioned at that time had to pay fee on their own, so It should be improved.
