- Campus Infrastructure is really good. Library is excellent, Sports Facility is also very good.
- The greenery in campus is really appreciable as it gives you pure air.
- The clubs here are good if you really want to participate, Clubs like E cell, GDSC , DCC, etc are good for programmers
Dislikes
- The timing of library is only upto 8 P.M which should be extended.
- Auditorium is not of good capacity of course it is decent but if can accommodate only around 500 students at at tkme
- Branches like Chemical, Engineering Physics, etc does not have their independent buliding.
Course Curriculum Overview
I don't choose this course by mine heart. I was getting this only so I had to choose this. Although, Branch Change is available in the college. To slide branch, you need to score 8.5 to be eligible for it and should get around 9.4 to CSE, 9 to ECE. The faculties here are good and supportive. It's totally dependent on you how you extract maximum from them
Internships Opportunities
The Internship opportunities are available in the 3rd year itself. The LoR is issued in 3rd year only. Through college internships opportunities are provided which is decent. The roles offered are Web Development Inern, Business analyst intern etc
Placement Experience
Students of 4th year become eligible to sit in Campus Placements. Most product based companies open for CS, ECE, EE and EI. Service based companies open for all branches. The average package this year is 8L across all branches, with median of 15 LPA in CSE and 43.82 being the Highest one. There is decrease in package no due to recession. The number of companies vising here are around 150+.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees to B.Tech Course is nearly 8 Lakhs for 4 years. But there is remission on Tuition fees for low income students. If your family has income below 1 lakh then there is full remission on Tuition fees , there are separate slabs for waiver better to check on official website. Apart from this, there is other scholarship also available like NSP, DAAD WISE, FFE, ONGC, etc
Campus Life
The campus life here is decent. The campus is very good in terms of infrastructure and campus is full of greenery. The size is 365 acres of land. There are many clubs like NLC, Malhar, Dezire, Soar, etc. College Annual fest is MOKSHA , Technical Fest is ADVAITAM , are held in Jan and May respectively. NIT AGARTALA has excellent Library facility, the only drawback is it is open only till 8 P.M. Girls are allowed outside hostel only till 6.30 P.M.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good. RNT is allotted to First year students and 3rd year whereas Aryabhatta is for 2nd and 4th year. Infra of RNT is good and is well maintained. The bathroom are cleaned. The food is average I would say with good food on some and rubbish on other day. Overall, it's average the only good part is you get hot Chapati.
Admission
The admission in NIT Agartala is based on JEE MAINS Score. The cutoff for CSE is around 98 %ile which ofcourse varies every year. The admission for M.Tech is done using GATE. If your income is below 1 Lakh , then there is 0 tuition fees, for between 1-5 l , and 5-8 lakh there is also reservation check on official website.a
