Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to take placements in IT sector so i choose to get my BE degree. Faculty:student is 1:20 Faculty members are well qualified PHD holders and minimum experience of 3 years. One semester is approximately of 4 to 5 months of teaching. We have our mid semester exams, end semester, other than these class tests are often taken timely.
Internships Opportunities
Amazon, google, Microsoft provide internship opportunities within and outside india. Recently a second year student also came from internship of more than 2 lakhs for 3 months. Seniors guide you the best for internships.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students can sit for campus placements. Companies such as Dreamplug Technologies, google, Microsoft, trilogy innovations, BNY Mellon, Cisco, etc visit campus. Highest placement is of 52 lakhs and average is of 14.2 lakhs. 90% students get placed. I plan for higher M. Tech. Degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is not so high and is easy manageable. It's value for money. Various scholarships such as PMSS, Kiran scholarship, TATA merit scholarship, Horizon Scholarship, Hashmap Scholarship, Udchalo scholarship and many more.
Campus Life
Alumni meet, PACE, cultural aakriti, technical aakriti, sports aakriti, graphica, Kickstarter, and more events are held annually. Library is large with seating capacity of more than 200 students, well equipped with more than 6000 books. Classrooms have projectors installed. We have cricket ground, badminton court, basketball court, football ground, volleyball ground, tennis court, squash court, and a gym. There are 28 clubs in total at present, namely technical club, sports club, nature club, cycling Club, National Service Scheme club, etc
Hostel Facilities
From single person to 6 person rooms are there assigned on the basis of branch merit list. Electric facility, cleaning facility and common washrooms are there. Good given is healthy with a vast menu of items. From breakfast to lunch then to snacks and finally to dinner there's different menu. Hostel allotment is compulsory for first year and for next years hostel forms are to be filled. PG rooms are available from 5k rent in nearby Dighi area.
Admission
Admissions are directly based on joint entrance examination rank. All information regarding the admission process is available in college website www.aitpune.com No reservation policy. But yeah, only Wards of army personal get admission. Admission process is a bit lengthy, could be Shorter.
