A Well-balanced review of AIT Pune.

I chose Information Technology because it isnt any different from CSE Course provided here, as Maximum of the subjects are similar. There are around 2-3 faculty for a specific subjects and a single faculty generally teaches around 3 classes. Most teacehs have done btech or Mtech from some reknowned institutes and the explaiin everything with great care and pay attention to what they are teaching class. Our first sems insems took place in october starting, There difficulty level was below average as most of the questions were from decode and they could be easily answered.

Many companies come to this college fot internships oppurtunities. There are internship offfered by Microsoft, Goldman sachs, deuchbank , Oracle etc. With and average stipend of 90000.Moostly the onterview round is most important in getting the internships and luck.

Our college have pretty decent college placements. Students become eligible for placement from 7th semester onwards. There are many companies which visit our campus such as Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs DeuschBank etc. There were 263 offers made to the studetns from our college last year.Highhest pacakage was of 52Lakhs per annum. And average packaage is 14 lakh p.a.. Placement percentage is 96 percentage. I plan on getting ajob in google as a software engineer with a pretty good package.

The total fees of this colllege for first year is 349465 Rs. where Hostel and mess charged are included, which are 51280 and 41930 respectively. There are several scholarchips provided in thi college like getting 10000 rs for coming 1 iin batch and another 10000rs for coming first in branch and also another whree 10000rs is rewarded for coming 1st in cll first years.

There are a total of 6 big fests in our collwege which are. Firrst three inter-branch Techinical akriti, Cultural Akriti and Sports Akriti, while three are inter-college events called Solutions, Amethyst and Pace. Cultural akriti is generally conducted during october end. While sports akriti and techinial akriti are conducted in the Jan to march period. We hvae a large library which is situated in aryabhatta centre building. And all the boooks and journals which are required for research or for exams can be found here. There are clean benches in class and each class has a projector and whicteboard. As it is a army college sports are heavily encouraged here and There are varoious sports being played here like, Squash, Lawn-Tennis, cricket, basketball, baseball. there is also a gym and boxing is also taught here. There are various clubs in thi scollege like OSS club, GDSC Club, technical Board, etc.

there is a single bed with a fans overhead provided which is enough as in pune there the weather is always mderate. Meals are provided 4 times a day- Breakfast, Lunch, Snack and Dinner. You have to pay the hostel fees with your yearly outstanding college tution fees. While in 1st year college is compulsory , around 30% students from the 2nd year onward are kicked out from the hiostel due to being low in grades.

The admission process of AIT Pune was through JEE main Rankking. As the JEE mains paper was above average ibn difficulty and you could get CSE in this college fo only 96 percentile in JEE Mains, Admission in this college for Army studens is very easy. But this college is reserved only for Army students whereas Some seats are reserved for J&K students. Apllication form can be found in the Website of the college which is "aitpune.com". Application fees is 1000 Rs. And the applicataion form is generally released when you give your first jee mains papers.
