- In college, I liked the Open Air Canteen food, it is very tasty and yummy. The burger and sandwish were mouth-watering.
- The club fests are incredible, the students work tirelessly day and night to conduct and manage these fests smoothly. We garner around 10,000 audience yearly.
- There is an amazing senior-junior bonding, we get the job done and also receive treats for the same. We also get referrals from alumni.
Dislikes
- The campus is too small with 30 acres only.
- The boy to girl ratio is very poor, which is 1:10.
- Campus is very far from the main city and the only connection we have is through buses.
Course Curriculum Overview
I love the course of computer engineering, since class 8th so I chose that. the ratio is 1:20. Most faculties have a PhD and are pursuing PhD. Term exams are prone to changes based on the curriculum of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies come to the Army Institute of Technology, such as Master Card with a pay of 1 lakh pm in internship, Deutsche 19 lakhs package, Oceaneering, Oracle, Adobe, Cred, UdChalo, etc. We also have a lot projects that help us shape for the interviews of these companies.
Placement Experience
We have a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that takes care of our in-campus placements. From the 7th Semester (fourth year). There are multiple companies that visit our campus with various offers such as, Mastercard, Deutsche Bank, ZS Associates, etc. Highest is 50 lakhs, average is 12 lakhs. 95% people get placements. Masters is my plan.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a 10% fees hike every financial year. While being on campus, I secured the Reliance Foundation Scholarship in my first year with a yearly stipend of 50,000 rupees for four years of my bachelor's degree program.
Campus Life
There are multiple fests at the college - Alchemy, Amethyst, Solutions, PACE, Innerve Hackathon, and Aakriti Events. We have a dedicated library with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest books. We have a projector, tables, fans, lights, rolling boards, speakers, curtains, chalks, etc. Many activities. Total 27 clubs exist such as Open Source Software Club, National Service Scheme Club, Technical Board, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell, Cultural Board, Sports Club, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Each room has one fan, one table, one big cupboard, one small cupboard, one bed, two curtains and one mattress. The food is awesome and really tasty. Registration is during basic fees payment. I am not in rented room, I am living in campus.
Admission
Army Institute of Technology provides admission to the students of Army personnel only. Along with that minimum criteria, we need to qualify Joint Entrance Examination Mains and secure a rank lesser than 50,000. The application form is available on the official website: www.aitpune.com The only reservation there is of J&K migrants. They get some benefits in the fees structure. Yes, the website is not up to the mark, and too much documentation.
