Course Curriculum Overview
My course is B.Sc. (H) Chemistry. This is a three year course and under the LOCF curriculum of the university. My passion for Chemistry made me choose this degree. The faculty to student ratio is that for every 30 students there is 1 teacher in the department. The teachers are very good at teaching and all of them are PhD qualified. The marks are mainly given on the basis of continuous evolution; test and assignments are taken regularly.
Internships Opportunities
The internship that are mainly available in our college are the internship that done under the guidance of the teachers of our college. The teachers active and roll management in internship activities.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible to sit in the plane campus placements after they have passed the 4th semester. Is like Delloite, TCS etc come to our college for providing placements. Highest packages offered are around 15 to 16 lpa and average packages are around 6.5 to 7 lpa. Almost 40 to 50% students who apply for placements get a job in the campus placement sittings. I'll enroll myself in a master's degree after I graduate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The per year fees for science courses are around ?20000. And the fees for commerce and humanity stay around ?15000. This fee include the tuition fees and all the extra curricular fees that are required by the college to take. Mini scholarships are given in our college for the economically weaker students and the class toppers. There are regular placements given in our college campus many companies come in our college for providing placements.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. Our annual College fest "MECCA" is held in the month of April every year. Books for every course, every semester are available in the library. Books and journals from many renowned authors in publications are available in the library. There is a college sports team for every other sport. There are 41 societies in our college which provide a good environment for extra curricular activities for all the students.
Admission
The admission process for our batch, i.e. , Class of '24, was held on the basis of the marks obtained in the class 12th boards examination. The application process starts around the month of August and after about 2 months the cut off lists are released. The applicants can further apply in their desired colleges after checking the cutoff marks. In the college approves the application and after making the fee payment The applicant is admitted into the college.

My priority was getting into Delhi University. Tezpur Central University was only a backup option for me.
