I take MnC that is mathematics and computing because i was greatly inclined towards mathematics and it has great scope in HFT's i.e higher frequency trading companies and fintech companies with very handsome CTC.Student to faculty ratio good.Faculties are highly qualified and have great names in their field of research.There 2 exams in every semester that Mid-sem and End-sems with several quizes in between.

The internship session starts at the start of pre-final year at iit guwahati , and companies like mastercard (stipend 75k per month) ,rubrik (stipend 1.5 lpm), amazon (1.2lpm) and many other companies comes to the campus for internship and every company have different roles as per their requirements.

At the end of 7th semester, the placement drive starts at IIT guwahati, which is after the PPO-(pre-placement offers by every companies for the people who did the interns). The highest package offered at guwahati is about 2Cr and average package is about 24 lakhs per year.Almost every gets placed at iit Guwahati.

The fees at IIT guwahati is around 200000 INR per year for general category students, but the facilities that are provided by institute is way more worth comparing to the yearly.For financial Assistance you can take education loan from bank i.e inside the campus.

There two annual fests at IIT guwahati i.e Techniche which occurs in the month of Aug/sep and Alcheringa which occur in the month of feb/march. Libarary has almost every book related to every course of every branch. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. Sports and Extra-curricular activities are conducted by different clubs which falls under gymkhana counsil. Robotics club, Consulting and analytics club , E-cell,etc are some clubs at IIT guwahati.

Hostel Facility are pretty good compared to the hostel fees that is 9550 rupees per year. All rooms have individual beds , fans and in some rooms there are attached washrooms also. Mess food is good , we get 4 meals per day, and in most of the meal ,we have the option between veg and non-veg meals.

The Admission process is basically relies on the rankings obtained in JEE Advanced, organized by various IITs. During my time that is in 2021 IIT KGP conducted the exam. Intially, qualification in JEE mains is a prerequiste to be eligible for JEE advanced.The application form for jee advanced is made available on its official website with a fee of 2700 rupees for general category students in 2021. Forthose eigible for reservation , there are significant advantages. Additionally, Female candidates benefit from a 10% extra seat reservation in IIT's.
