Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and easy for a student to study . We had a variety of choices in each semester so that we can get chance to study more subjects . My purpose of choosing this course is that I want to study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together , but if I opted for Honors then this opportunity would have missed . So I decided to choose B.Sc Physical Science. The faculty to student ratio is perfect . There is about 1 teacher per 10 students. Almost all facilities have done P.hd from renowed institutions and have a deep knowledge of their subject and their teaching method is just awesome. Semester exams are held after every 4 months and it is very easy for a student to pass in exams and it is seen that it is possible to pass by studying even before 2-3 days of exam .
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to pay fees annually and it is about 15-16 thousands per year . The process of paying fees is simple . We have to login to our Student Portal on college website and there it shows the option of payment of fees . Generally there is no fees hike regularly and it happens only after 3-4 years and not so much , about 200 rupees increases in fees . Our college provides so many scholarship to students and every eligible student can avail this benefit of scholarship. Scholarship like Inspire , NSP , Prime Minister Scholarship and many more scholarships are given to students
Campus Life
Campus life is a very different phase for the students. We come to know new things never experienced before. Coming to the college, it organises some annual fest or tech fest which aims to bring the students of various streams on a common platform where they are encouraged to share knowledge and innovative ideas. Generally conducted once or twice a year. Facilities that are the common necessaties are provided in the classrooms like proper sitting arrangements, projectors for presentations, and a good environment for study. Library provides a wide variety of books whether they are related to study or social issues or novels. Lot of opportunities are provided for the personality development of the students. Sports activities takes place from time to time. Inter-college sports are also organised like cricket tournaments or basketball or football matches so that more and more students take part through this they come to know the benefits of sports.
Admission
The admission process was really good for me . I don't face any problem at the time of admission . The admin office staff contacted me for my details and helped me related to the documents needed to submit . My admission was based on 12th marks and luckily we don't have to give any entrance exam. I got admission in first merit list and don't have to wait further for next lists. The application form for Hindu College comes under Delhi University form , I mean you don't need to fill form separately for this college . The forms are out online and we just have to select our college when our percentage meets the eligibility criteria of a particular college and all the admission process is online completely . Caste reservation, Sports quota , EWS quota, etc can be availed in our college at the time of admission. There are reserved seats of these in almost all courses .
