RIT College Review by Yash Raj (2023-27)

Here, faculty members are well qualified but teaching interaction of each subject is not as good as required, but it's not a big problem.This is like other Private colleges where we students have to Put out Efforts first and then other faculties will help. There is no Spoon feeding Here . If student is not self aware of their actions then there would be very diffulty in taking placements after graduation. Also this not not the fancy college like LPU, KIIT , etc like...it is School type college. Here Student safety and Hostel Descipline id EXCELLENT !!

Internship starts from 3rd year, you will be notified by the Placement Cell of that college and Excited students also hunt for Internship Oppurtunities for Themselves. There is a subject name "Internship" in 1st Semester, but this is not the proper Internship. Few students also get interned in IITs for work.

In 2023 I am in 1st year, so I have not much Idea about the Placements. But, Branches like CSE , AI-ML, and ECE have good Placements like the average of 5.5 LPA , Oncampus Highest Package was about 15 LPA and Offcampus it was 53LPA , 48 LPA ,etc. NOTE - Students must have to put their own efforts to Upskill their Levels, Teachers will not gonna hent you throughout the process. If you will get low grades or scores in exam.that's not the Big deal, the thing which matters is Your Skills and Accuracy. This College Brings many Reknowned MNCs for Placement, if student is Dedicated then he Finally gets the Good Package and Even can get the Highest Package like Offcampus one, But most important thing is that amunt of Fine Skills you should Have, Out Friend Circle defines our Environment and Our Environment makes us. It is Better to have very less friend than a Bad Friend Circle... Good Luck !!

I am in 1st year (2023-27 batch), Now my Coursae Fees is around 119000/year and Hostel Charge is 75000/year. Placement wise Fees are very Reasonable. According to its Placement, its fees is not much High, Having a Good Return on Investment (ROI). Recently our college got NAAC A++ grade, so there is a big probability that it will increse its Course Fees Structure for 2024 batch Onwards. There is Scholarship also, 12th PCM Marks > 80% will get some scholarship during admission. Campus is not very Big but almost eact type of sports are there.

Campus life is Not Fancy like we used to imagine the college life like movies and other luxirious campus like LPU type college. Campus life is decent and Well Desciplined *(Actually Extra Desciplined) which feels like we are still in School. Yes there is Library facility also which allows us to borrow books from it and have to Re-issue ot return within 14 days. Classrooms are like School Class Rooms but Well Equiped with Projectors. (AC is not there in any Class Rooms) There are 4 Clubs - Technical, Cultural, Environmental, and Sports Club. Interested students can become its member by passing the Auditions, and one thing more it is Not necesary to participate.

Hostel facility is Good in terms of facilities and Comfort (Including AC Rooms), But It is Very important to note that Students have to sign the 1 year of agreement that they are taking Hostel facility , Before completing 1 year Student Cannot Leave the Hostel and rent at outside the compus. (It will not tell by anyone untill you will get the hostel) If you want to Accomodation outside the compus the never Enroll for Hostel otherwise before 1 year you will not be able to change your decision. One Worse thing is - We have to make Pass whenever we have to go outside the gate (For Hostelers only). Warden Calls the Parents to confirm the Pass for Outside. Boys Hostel Warde is Very Very Strict. And Charges Fine in any Mis- Activity. Food is Average (Not Complainable) but students used to complain because they get bored of Repetative same food for Years.

Through JEE Mains Counciling and also Direct Admission through 12th PCM grade. Yes,there is few reservation benefits for SC-ST Castes students. Admission from 2024 will be more Competetive because recently in 2023 RIT got the NAAC A++ grade or it is possible that Fees will increse to some extent.
