- The society culture is really good and is one of the best with the theatre society of KMC, Players, giving India some of its best talents like Amitabh Bachchan and Divyendu Sharma
- The crowd is really good and is quite open minded.
- The amenities, in comparison to some other colleges of DU, are decent.
Dislikes
- Just like in other colleges of DU, there is a clear political bias when it comes to recruitment of faculty.
- The college definitely needs some more RO filters.
- The auditorium of the college, which was burnt down a few years back, hasn't been completed yet and thus the college only has 2 smaller auditoriums with a capacity of around 100 each.
Course Curriculum Overview
Currently doing Political Science Honors, the faculty is decent and each section has around 45-55 students. Most faculty members have a PhD and the ones who do not have a PhD are in their last couple years of PhD. The term exams depend on the examination schedule of Delhi University.
Internships Opportunities
For internships, there are dedicated cells and societies such as Enactus, Placement Cell and Career Development Cell. Apart from that, the brand value of being a North Campus college also helps while applying anywhere. The professors themselves are quite research oriented so there's always a decent chance of being picked up for tasks in those as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for an unreserved candidate with no EWS backing is ?12975/- per year. There are several scholarships up for grabs from the college as well as the university which are informed about by the concerned authorities from time to time.
Campus Life
One of the best things about KMC is its student quality and society culture. There exist close to around 40-50 societies and each day one might find events conducted by one society or the other. The fests held by the societies are some of the best and are usually held in the early half of the year before summer break.
Admission
Since KMC is a constituent college of DU, its entrance is based on one's CUET score. In order to get admission into KMC, they need to apply for CUET. For political Science Honors, an unreserved candidate needs to score around 780(normalised score).
