Course Curriculum Overview
I aspire to be a software engineer. That's why currently I'm pursuing B.TECH CSE. The faculty here is more or less good. Highly qualified professors are employed here. The term exams are regulated by the MAKAUT. So forget routine. Engineers study one day before exam. Best of luck.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered to the final year students. It's upon you whether you want to take it or leave it. But there are good Internship opportunities in this college. Now don't expect Google to come and offer you an internship.
Placement Experience
Campusing is good. One can expect an average package of 3-4LPA. Cracking a placement interview is solely based upon an individual's skill. Develop your skill and you're good to go. If you belong to CSE or IT depts then your package may be on a higher scale. But it's purely upon your skill.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost here to study is slightly high. For a B.TECH grad (without any Tuition Fee Wavier reservation) it costs 6 lacs for 4year. Campusing is good here. Chances are more to get placed in good companies if you are from CSE, IT or ECE dept. Rest idk.
Campus Life
Campus life is more or less on the okayish side. Fests are conducted here. TechXtra, Paridhi are some of the fests conducted here. Clubs like Technical, Dance, Singing and cultural club exists here. Library is equipped with all types of book. Classrooms are okay. No facility for sports. But yes there fresher's cup football tournament and Meghnad Saha Soccer League.
Admission
Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is a college of Techno Group India. One can get admission through the ranks of WBJEE, JEE MAINS and also through management quota. Since it's a private college, don't expect any caste reservations. Only tuition fee wavier can be availed.
Interview Experience
No group discussion or interview or written test are there for the admission. The admission process is purely based upon the ranks of WBJEE or JEE MAINS. Management quota is also available. If your rank is around 11k you'll here with Btech Cse.
