Here th mode of teaching is very highly Contributed.
Overall the faculty is well experienced and the students are very genius

Dislikes

The mode of toughness of giving and conducting the exams.
In the nit calicut kerala it is always used to rain .
It is very tough to pass in the national institute of technology calicut

Course Curriculum Overview

The mode of conducting examinations in Nit calicut is difficult. The questions thar are asked to solve are very difficulty. Somehow it is somewhat easy to pass .There are exams conducted for the semester wise Mid semester and End sem.The faculty is very highly experienced in teaching.I like this course.The faculty student ratio is 1:57

Placement Experience

From the third year onwards the students become eligible for the campus placements.There are so many companies visited that is Intel,Samsung.The percentage of students getting placed in mechanical engineering is 100.After getting the degree I would opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for hostel fee is 66000.And the institute fee is about 125000.The scholarship I have applied is nsp(Top class education scheme for sc students).I am first year student in the Nit calicut.

Campus Life

There are one tech fest and one cultural fest in the Nit calicut.One is conducted in the March Raagam and and the another is Tathva which is very popular.There are several books in the library for availability. There are so many sports conducted.

Hostel Facilities

A room consists of 4 members.The hostel is very comfortable and the food provided is very good.The food is very delicious. Registration for hostel and affordability for every month gets started.The locality I entered in my room is kozhikode

Admission

I have studied 12th (Intermediate) in the guntur college.In the year of +1,+2,I have started preparing for the joint entrance examination. After writing jee exam I have qualified and got opportunity for selecting nit colleges.In that I opted for NIT CALICUT and received a seat.In the physical reporting I have attended and joined the college.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I chose this college because of strong reputation , good placements and quality of education. I applied to other NITs and state engineering colleges and received some admissions,but selected this college because I preffered Electrical Engineering. Details Of NITC

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
