The infrastructure is great along with quality students but bad thing is that teachers are not up to the mark because here we have to rely upon youtube lectures to score good marks

Actually, JEE i.e joint engineering entrance was the exam.No interview is there but a two-round exam was there i.e mains and advanceD. Further students are alloted branches according to their JEE ranks.

Actually here more focus is on theoretical purpose rather than practical knowledge. Yes, various research initiatives are taken nut in vain like summer undergraduate research awards, etc. There are many elective courses like economics, german, data analytics, data mining, etc.

Yes, we have a training and placement office which can provide one internship.But till now I haven't applied for one

Placements are mediocre. Not so good and not so bad. Other IITs have better placement due to location factors like Bombay and delhi

Campus life is too awesome too many friends late at night roaming in the college, canteen Gupshup. Every student misses all about college after passing out. there are so many opportunities available for the students like sports, arts, photography, music, dance. debates and workshops are conducted by the committees time to time for the students, special adventure trip is organized for the student

For gen-100000 +12000(mess fee)+3000 hostel per semester. earlier it was too less.The tuition fee must be less.

Collage provides MCM(Merit Cum Mean) under which students whose parental income is under 4.5 lakhs don't have to pay tuition fees. There are some scholarships by alums.

there are mainly two mains events organized. one is THOMSO which is a cultural fest and another COGNIZANCE which is a technical fest. Both fest is too good and provide a chance of enjoyment and also for technical learning. a student from different colleges comes for participation.

IIT Roorkee provides a free hostel with one of the fastest Internet speeds in the country, that one can enjoy in the hostel room. Also, we have 24 hr electricity. Since we have to pay only 12k per semester for the mess, so, mess food in not up to to that level.

The college has a great history It was founded in 1857. so the network of alumni of the college is very strong. They are very helpful, They bring many companies to colleges for placements and internship. Also, provide major contributions for funds to festivals

Exam structure contains one mid-term evaluation, one practical, viva (practical and viva for particular courses only), and final examination. Midterm carries a weightage of 25 percent to 40 percent 50 percent weightage to the final exam and rest to practicals

They are well qualified from foreign universities but the way of teaching is not so good as they are monotonic in nature and not much interested in imparting knowledge.
