I chose this course because of the placement which this college recently gave to the students and also heard that it have a good senior junior relation. The faculties are highly qualified many are PhD . Also some faculty treat us like it was supposed to be in schools . Teaching style of faculties is majorly through ppts and regular presentations in most of the subjects and in maths with every week regular tests . (Teachers are strict ) exams here are conducted regularly by some subject teachers and also all the class tests are taken just before the insem or end sem papers ( the dates of insem and endsem exams are released by the sppu ). The curriculum for the first year is like going to the classes at 8.45 am and having a break of 40 min for lunch at 1 pm and then continuing the classes for 3.45 pm .

Microsoft provides internships here to many students with a min stipen amount of around 20 k per month . Coding ninja also have given internships here starting with 10k and so on . Solutions also have a great number of interns here. Projects here made are from the academics only which are enough to get an internship .

Placements here are good and I would say excellent for the upper branches . Last year around 35 students got a package of 30 lpa plus and more details are present on the ait site . After the 6th sem students can sit for the placement rounds. Companies here are Paytm , goldman sachs , byjus , Deloitte and many more . 96 percent of the students got placement on campus last year . Highest package offered last year on campus was 52 lpa and off campus 1.12 cr

The fees structure includes a major amount for the academics of about 2.5 lakhs for the first year excluding the hostel fees . The increase in the fees is around 10k per year . The stationaries are on the student will not be provided by the college . There are many scholarships in the college like the class topper gets 25k , and also top 10 also gets scholarship . Also reliance foundation scholarship , government scholarship like pmss , awes ,ud chalo scholarship etc . Girls are given priority in the case of scholarships, there are many scholarships for them. the details for the same are on the ait site about every scholarship . Placements here are good u can find the brochure on the site which shows that comp department have an average of 18.5 lpa this time. Students have got internships in the second year through their skills with stipen . And most of the students gets internships in the 3rd year also some wins hackthons(1 lakh prize money )or competition held in the college itself.

The life at the campus is quite good not like other colleges . The college do have a senior junior boundaries and also I would say first years should not expect much here because they will be trained physically for around a month here in the starting . The rules here are inspired from ARMY . There are many clubs here in which one can take part for that interviews are taken by the seniors . The main events like sports akriti (in January) , cultural akriti(in September) , technical akriti , pace etc. There is a huge library in the aryabhatta hall here which has every type of book according to the interests . Classrooms are fully furnished (projectors , speakers , black white board , computer ) also the ACs are not there because pune has a good wheather . Sports and extra curricular activities are held regularly like recently the cricket, kabbadi , football , basketball leagues were held by the sports club . There are many clubs like spiritual , robotics , ai , r&d , tech board etc

The rounded off fees for the hostel plus mess is around 1 lakh for a year. Hostel registration process will be included in the application process .(staying in hostel is compulsory for 1 yrs) the facilities provided here are decent as the hostels are old and also one will be provided with a paid mattress and curtains. Mess food is good here but repetetiveness of the same thing makes one bored .

The admission process was quite smooth , could be hectic for someone who haven't seen crowd in a small room .(Student must be a defence personnel ward) One can be eligible for the course by getting appeared in any of the recent jee mains attempt and should have a decent merit number in the merit list published by the ait list after the application process(cut off are changing every room or can say that it is increasing for different branches comp - 95+)The application form dates and notifications of other important dates regarding admission are continuously updated on the official site of ait(www.aitpune.com) . There is no reservation regarding categories in ait but do have reservations for the wards of those defence personnel who have any defence award and to those students who are from jammu & Kashmir . Improvements regarding admission process should be more online not offline or it can be that the submission of documents should have a separate counters not in a single room.
