Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course cause it was my favourite subject. And the college facilty is also good depends which college you choose. They have took examination process so much long. Because only sunday we took the exam. It is open university but his examination & passing process is tough.. if you could not study then forgot to pass

Fees structure is too lown if i copare others open university.. I took my b. Sc in three years and my total cost approximately 20000.I think this is ok all type of students. Because no others tution fees. No sir i have no scholorship or similar than.

Campus Life

None type of annual fest. This is true. Because we study in distance education. But the college organised their annuel fest. But thier university are different. Book avilibility is too good. When you necessary you took book in college.

Admission

Eligibility is you have main subject which you want honours. I found this in internet. This university have no reservation facilities.. But as my opion is that this is the best university that if your age is no matter in this. And their university is also veluable. Thank you NSOU

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because it is near of my home and other college are so far from my home. In my college there is really good teachers other than college. I have also applied in college like Calcutta university and presidency university of Kolkata but i couldn't study there due to non available seats in open distance learning. The admission process in NSOU is simple you have to score minimum 60 percentage in your 12th exam to enlisted for screening and 100seats were filled up out of those according to merit base.
