Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in computer science and engineering. Faculty: student ratio is 1:50. So it is good. Faculty are highly qualified but some teachers' method of teaching is not so effective. Term exams are conducted on time as they schedule at the start of course and it's not too difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
They didn't say anything about Internships. According to one senior internships are available from 2nd year. Tehy are under one of the faculty. Projects are given to a group and have to be completed on time
Placement Experience
I don't have a complete idea about placements. Placements in our cse department are high as th Institute has 100% placements in 2022 and about 98% in 2023. Average package in cae department is around 20 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
I think fees should be decreased. Of course there are different fee structures based on income but I think the fees is too high for me. I just applied for scholarship it should get updated. It takes time.
Campus Life
Tathva and ragam are two big fests that are conducted every year former is in monsoon semester while latter is in winter semester. Books are available to study in library. There is also digital library available. Classrooms are neat and clean. There is also digital availability like projector. Microphone and speaker for teachers. All different sports and game are available and they are alloted grounds and coaches. There are so many clubs run by students and are very helpful in improving social life of student
Hostel Facilities
Four members are present in one room. There are four beds and four tables. The room is big enough for four members. Meals provided are not too good. They can be consumed but they are not satisfying. Registration is through app which is smooth but the fees for mess is a little high.
Admission
Based on jee rank. Find it in nit calicut administrative block. I have admission record. Eligibility rank benefits. Should have given reporting date earlier so that it would help us to plan to go there. Rule of payment of full fees before reporting is harsh so it should be taken in atleast 2 installments.
